From Sound to Image: Capturing Scott Zylo’s New Era
We recently captured photography and video promotion for Scott Xylo. To mark a new era in his journey, we created a series of press images designed to capture him in stillness and in his element, while reflecting the character and evolution of his artistry. Alongside the photography, we also created a selection of creative social media cutdowns, using the imagery and his music to showcase his sound in an engaging and visually distinctive way.
Scott Xylo is a visionary musician based in the United Kingdom whose music blends electronic rhythms, neo-soul, hip-hop and obscure sample chops. Drawing inspiration from artists including Madlib, Wu-Tang Clan and MF DOOM, as well as the late ’60s and early ’70s progressive and psychedelic soul eras, his influences span Earth, Wind & Fire, Funkadelic and Minnie Riperton.
The resulting content gave Scott a versatile collection of assets for press, promotion and social media, helping introduce this new chapter of his creative journey with a cohesive visual identity.
