So I’m back with another episode of That New Sh*t! Can I just say…it’s about time. Manchester is finally getting the recognition it deserves. The Manny hip hop scene is blossoming. It’s great to see untainted, raw talent being admired by many. Underground talent is really coming to the forefront and taking shape in the form of various different artists, with different styles and hypnotic rhythms and rhymes. Today I’ll be writing about another one of Manchester’s gems and Roots Raddix’s own LayFullStop. The artist who is originally from Birmingham dropped a melody last Friday and blessed us with the visuals today. The track titled Crown City produced by Deon Davis, is available to listen to on all major platforms. The artist who took time out to work on her craft, now comes with a complete university degree, new material and consistency. Stepping into the hip hop/soul scene making “bare noise” as she puts it in the track. LayFullStop is here to stay. Her quirkiness, exuberance and suavity shines through the music video as she keeps us locked in her Crown City, with witty rhymes and wordplay. She came hard in YinYang, then she took us on a trip with AURA, now she leaves us with this upbeat melody and all we can do now is anticipate her next moves.
